I have just read over on TnT Miniature Forums that Ray Lamb and his wife have decided to close down their operation and cease production of their line. They will be missed greatly

I thought PM were out of business a long time ago, but it is sad indeed that they are 'closing shop'. They say any reasons for it?

What's with all the negative vibes???? You folks act as if someone kicked your dog!!! We should be congratulating the Lambs for their contribution, and wishing them well in the future!!!!!
Hey, there is no question that PM produced some of the finest figures ever made, BUT, there is also no reason to believe that Ray will take the masters to a retirement home, and ferret them away in his sock drawer, either! This is an opportunity for someone out there to step up to the plate, and fill the void(so to speak) by PM's retirement!!! I'm sure that Ray is a wonderful person in every sense of the word, but, there is no reason that someone else cannot fill the void. Now, as for his wife(God bless her soul, who worked with cast metal till her fingers turned BLACK!!!;-)), she deserves time with Ray as well.
Hey folks, let's be HAPPY for the Lambs, and lets be optimistic in what may yet be produced!!!! (in athletics, they say that records are MADE to be broken..)
We now return you to your regular program......
If you guys are counting on ME to be optimistic, you are ALL in a heap o trouble....
