Here's an update of a figure i have been working on. My first non WOII.
Its a bit wet so don't mind the glossy look.
It comes with a spear and a shield. The boxarts shows a scorpion and some leaves on the shield. Im doubting if i cant pull that one off......

Great start John!
I would add a bit more contrast to the skin and metals.
For the shield design you can always use one of the stencils from Tommi.

John, I have quite a few of his stencils and they are worth every penny. If you are careful you can re-use them as well. Click on the "Online Shop" button on his webpage.

You have to pull out the contrast more. It looks very flat. More shading and highlighting.
I also use the stencils from Tommi Warton for shielddesign. Toppertjes.
