WIP Critique Green Beret, Vietnam 1967 (Concept Miniatures, 1/9 bust)

Really excited to be painting my first bust and happy I’ve recently practiced with tiger stripe camo. This first panel was a practice with a tweaked process and colours. I’ll take pics at each stage of the process for the back as well as the colours used.

Always fancied doing a camp job but not sure about doing it in oil's

Thanks malc, every now and again I contemplate shading with oils but end up bottling it after all the work of the pattern. I know Ski gave me some tips many moons ago. Maybe I should drag them out. And of course Malc, if you’ve got any suggestions I’m all ears!

Nap, I’ve tweaked the colours a little after some feedback on the figure and also a little dissatisfaction with the end contrast. I didn’t manage to recreate Venko’s palette so had to tweak my own.
