I'm finally going to call this one finished, just the swivel hook for the carbine to finish off now, which I damaged so is under repair at present.
The whole piece was painted using acrylic basecoats from humbrol and games workshop and the metals were from dark star.
Waterloo is close to my heart and has been since I first saw the film at the cinema in 1971,i'm pleased to have a lancer to add to my waterloo collection now
The bust is beautifully cast by Graham Scollick at CGS and the sculpting and movement are excellent by Carl Reid.
I apologise if most of you were waiting for the painted parade version,as most people will be aware by now I like to show my pieces with a campaign worn look about them, after all the squadron accompanied napoleon on elba and these uniforms wouldn't have been in the best of condition.
Many thanks for following the updates, they are very much appreciated.
