I visited Euro for the first time this year.
Marijn's Best of Show was well deserved, although my favorite would be "Giant Killer" or " Giant Slayer" a wonderful scratched figure on top of a section from a giant's face. Incredibly realistic, great paint job, awesome showpiece.
I don't have reference to other Euromilitaires from the past. What I had expected was that there would be more focus on traders with figures. It looked as if there were more traders focussed on armour. Although that idea may be fed by the fact that figure traders usually take less space than the others. Of course Pegaso, PiliPili, Stormtroopers, JMD and a polish figure company were there. Sorry if I forget anyone.
As an armour buff, doubting to join the dark side: figures, I can only conclude that Euro should consider some changes in the armour Classes for the competition. It is too limited now, which causes some strange results.
As for the figure part, there were some great figures from Diego Ruina and a beautifully rendered Pegaso Musketeer (?) from another Italian modeller, that really caught my eye. And the Giant Slayer, of course. Wonder who made that one.
