HI everyone looking for help on priming white metal figure, i normally prime my resin figures with halfords grey primer can i use this on white metal, cheers roy.

This scale is below my own skill! .. however, for 90mm stuff, I usually run with 'Citadel Skull White', or 'Chaos Black'. (Ignore the titles) , or the Humbrol Acrylic Grey Primer.. These are that much more finer than the auto stuff! ( of which I have) and they do work well on 'White metal', as well as Resin! ;)

Regards,

Mark

Halfords grey primer works well for me every time on white metal or resin any scale, nice smooth finish and does not chip. Been using it for years with no issues.

Another vote for halfords primer here, both white and grey (y)

It's cheap(ish) and it sticks to anything like s**t to a blanket (white metal, resin, styrene, even paper!). I haven't had a problem with the finish but I always stick it in a jug of warm water for 15 mins and then shake it hard for 2-3 mins before I use it.

I've tried several other primers but always end up back with halfords.

Cheers,
Billy :)
