Hi everybody
i've just finished this figure.I'm please with it but i'm not sure if fitting the helm
was a good idea. The two flaps were a bit too big and i had to modified them.
Let me know what you think please.
Best regards
ROBERTO :)

Hi Roberto,

Looks very good. I'm not specialized in Romans, but the flaps don't look too big on first sight. The shield is superb too. Was it painted or is some sort of a decal?

Many greetings,

Gino

Hi Markus
the figure was painted in Vallejo and printer inks for the parts in metal
cheers
Roberto :)

Hi Roberto,

What a magnificent painting job you have done with your Roman figurine - I swear I can almost see him breathing. The shield is truely breathtaking - you have done a wonderful job. I would love to see more of your art work if you have anymore to show us.

Kind regards. ;)

Hello Roberto,

Only echoing the others: great paint job, especially the shield!

I find it very admirable that you modified the figure by putting his helmet on. Personaly I like the figure more now. I always found that the bare head gave an odd look, seeming too small in comparison with the rest of the figure. So with this modification the problem seems solved.

Forgive me to have one remark though: the flaps seem different in size, the right one looking bigger than the left. Probably it will be virtually impossible to change this now without damaging the paint work. I think the flap on the left is the right size.

Otherwise you did a great job!

Kind regards

Johan

Dear Johan,
you are right. So i have modified the flap on the right side made it smaller.
YOUR advice was very appricieted.I've taken few more pictures.Does it look
right now?
Please let me know
Thank you very much
Roberto :)

Dear Roberto,

Thank you for appreciating my remarks. I think you solved the problem very well now. Again, this figure looks so much better than the original. Congratulations with your work!

Kind regards

Johan

That is a terrific looking Roman Roberto. Kinda makes me wish I had added the helmet instead of leaving it seperate now :(
