Life Miniatures 1/10 bust of Princess Elizabeth in her ATS uniform circa 1945.This is a three part kit, cap, head and torso. The ATS badges are extremely well done, details are easily seen and the edges are sharp making painting easier. She would have been 18 or 19 at the time the reference photo was taken so I chose a very light palette for her face. She is painted mostly in AK Gen 3 acrylics.

Hi Al

One of the best sculpts from LM for sure , a great tribute to a amazing Princess doing her bit and future Queen

Nicely painted, the flesh tones and the hair look good , nice work on the ribbons and badges

What did AK you use for the uniform colour itself ?

Do look at supporting the competitions see link below

Thanks for sharing this nice piece

Looking forward to seeing more

Happy benchtime

When I bought her at MFCA, I also picked up the AK Gen 3 British Uniform Special set with British Uniform Base and Light, Leather Brown and Burnt umber. I used the Base for, well, the base color and highlighted with very well thinned light. The deep shadows are thinned Burnt Umber.

Lovely job. I too think the face, hair and eyes in particular are really well handled.
