Hello Mike didn't know about this product, will be useful to have a try, I only use water for blending, I guess this product help to avoid the fast dry of the ecrylics, would be nice to know if works good mixing also with Flat Base...

It certainly does work with Flat Base Ernesto & in fact gives you another option with getting effects. It can provide a flatter finish when used in a couple of layers but also allows for a nice soft flesh sheen if working with more layers for example on faces.

I've just about finished my bottle so will probably give the Jo Sonja Medium a go as I am using more of these today. Though still mix in Vallejo, Citadel & about 3 or 4 other acrylic paint types I use.

Look forward to hearing about your experiments with this.

Mike

Pedro.

Haven't seen this type Pedro but the heavy white substance at the base worries me, looks more like Tamiya Flat base & can be dangerous if not used in small portions. The Winsor & Newton Medium is perfectly clear & you can use as much as you want without affect on final colours apart from a generally flat finish unless thicker layers of paint.

Hope this makes some sense.

Mike

P.S. I did get some Vallejo "Washes" Sepia & Umber yesterday, was hoping these would do a similiar thing (i.e. clear colour without affecting base paint) Citadel Inks which I don't like to use too much as they are very glossy.

Ernest I love the skintone!
As for Jo Sonja use them in recent months and I can tell you that is amazing and from about quality is excellent.
They can easily be mixed with other known acrylic andrea-Vallejo and of course you what we are looking to other additives in a Matte finish GIVE immediately.

Coming along nicely. And with regard to the Jo Sonja paints, I started using them just recently and they are superb. Used on their own or they can be mixed with Valejo.
