Hi All,
After first releasing this figure, I had a number of comments and constructive ones at that, therefore I have taken on board the feedback.
I am re-launching this as from now with a two head set. One will be the original bare head and the second new head with the foreign service helmet.

Looks like I need to paint a second copy:).

The new price including world wide P & P will be £39.50. Any pF member who would like a copy please remember if you contact me through here first, you will get a 10% discount.

cheers
Richie

Looking good Richie, the helmet is a good option. I like the deep peak, the facial hair makes him remind me of Sean Connery in the man who would be king (great movie)(y)

Hi John, Pedro & Ian,
Thank you lads, seems the market would prefer the helmet version or a choice, so that's what I did.

Ian - the website is launched mate as of this week, I took your recommendation, thanks(y) www.1879miniatures.co.uk
I'm trying like mad to get a couple of hours in everyday on the brushes but I keep running out of daylight.:(

Not my period of interest (but never say never) but this does look good and the choice of a second head is a nice touch. Hope it does well for you Richie and well done with the web site.
PS, remember Nap has a handy lamp for sale for when you run out of daylight.;)

Barrie.

Hi Ken & Barrie,
Thank you lads for the very nice comments, after listening to the comments I needed to make the change. See the voice of the people does matter.
cheers

Love this Richie.....I just read you have only been in the hobby for four years!! I would have taken me that long to paint your pinned like rats diorama....Lol.....Kevin

Hi Kevin,
Glad you like him mate, I was impressed with your display cabinets, could not see any figures from 1879!:cautious: May be they are at the back or still grey;).
Yes, it was my pF 4th birthday on the 12th January, I joined in 2011. So been at this closer to 4.5 years. I'm still on course to finish my dio by the time Sword & Lance comes around. Considering I have done quite a few other bits in between:facepalm: I estimate the time elapsed will have taken somewhere between 12-14 months.
cheers

Just a small 1879 fix Richie from the rear......to be honest as I have probably mentioned it was my Dad taking me to see Zulu that really grabbed my interest in all this......Kevin
