Everyone in Scotland uses blue tack  "'not suggesting we are a mean lot" but IT WORKS

Haven't seen it affect the base finish as yet but i suppose if you attended many shows then it just might .

Interested in the velcro solution mind you .

Ron
Very impressive

The concern I have with 'Velcro' is the strength of the grip. Strikes me there would be a risk of damage in trying to remove figures with loop tape on the bases from the hook tape covered carrying base.

I'll have a box and some figures fitted with velcro on our stand at Euro if you'd like to try it out and if you are suitably impressed we will have a couple of rolls of hooks and eyes with us ;) (shameless plug!)

Cheers Jon I'll have a look. It's never been the 'fix' of Velcro but more the release. A lot of what I paint is 75mm-90mm white metal foot and mounted the weight sometimes makes it awkward to peel away from the velcro without an increased risk. No problem with resin or 54mm metals where the weight is more at the base,
Cheers

I know what you mean Derek. I have used it on a 75mm white metal mounted figure and there is an art to removing it safely; it does have quite a substatial base which helps as there is plenty to hold on to!

this is great , i was looking something like that .
i have some questions , which are the dimensions ? is it possible to travel with it by plane with hand luggage ?
and which are the inside dimensions? because i see 2 shelves but i can not understand if its possible to have figures in both of them.
Dani

Sorry Arbal i havent seen it in your review i think i missed it
Thanks Marta for infos.
too bad, its so great.. maybe for traveling by car. You can think in the future for a hand baggage solution maybe without the 2x paint boxes
anyway all the best

Then check out Jon's option
Sphere products - check out transit boxes
I got mine with custom size.
Without space for paints, but with two options of shelves.
And Jon even suggested that the handle can be flat, I'm not loosing any airplain allowances for it.

And it's pretty cool:
