I am pleased to say that mine arrived today. What a great kit and thanks all for this post. I assumed this was a black uniform and now am a bit puzzled. Thanks for the reference pics Felix! So now to find a real uniform to understand what shade of brown we are talking about. The Almond kit picture lo

Felix, you are a wealth of information, any ideas of establishing my color palette? I would appreciate any advice you can think of! Same for Keith and everyone.​

Neal, I greatly enjoy Richard Almond's figures and Ray Lamb's Poste Militaire. I go to Ebay about two -three times a week, go to Toys and Hobbies, Models and type in Almond Sculptures and then Poste Militaire , take a quick look for anything new or in my price range, log out and go about my day. I really had given up hope for this one.

Hi Kevin. I’ve managed to get hold of one luckily and managed to pick up the Cuirassier standard bearer to boot. Looking forward to getting started on them in the near future although the Maj. Werner figure doesn’t have a copy of the building/painting instructions with it so I’ll probably be putting a shout out to get a copy to refer to. Don’t know whether you’re intending getting stuck into yours in the near future but look forward to seeing it.

Hi Felix/Kevin, is there any chance you could post up the painting/assembly guide again for this figure please. I’ve made a start on it but when I try to access the attachment Felix posted I’m just getting a blank screen-don’t know if this is time sensitive re access and I’ve left it too long.
