Bravo!!! breathtaking painting! Is this a comercial kit, or your own sculpt? The pose of the horse and the figure itself is wonderfull.

Hello Davide, I have this kit in the grey army so the pictures will be a great help for when I get round to putting some paint on it. If I can paint to 50% of this standard I will be very pleased-Really like the colours you have used and the work on the horse is superb.

Beautiful painting on a very difficult equestrian figure. And beautiful
photographs as well. I love the idea of a spotted horse. Really adds to the
eye candy.

Congratulations on a lovely presentation.

Beatiful paint job Davide. Ithink it´s really spectacular.

I see you've painted the 7th regiment. I do not want to seem too strict about historical accuracy, but I must say that the 7th Regiment didn´t use Colback , but Mirliton. Some sources such as Funcken, show the two types of caps for all the regiments, but this information is erroneous. Take a look at this picture of the time.

Sorry billy, I don´t have the entire book. My friend Ramón Labayen bought it in Germany and I lent it to make copies of the illustrations. They are rectangular format books containing uniforms of the army of Frederick the Great.

The generic title of the series is "Die Friderizianischen Uniformen", author:Hans Bleckwenn, containing 4 volumes with the infantry, Cavalry, Artillery, freikorps etc. He uses the original uniform documentation sources.

An example of the infantry.
