I just discovered this by accident as I had a few trail pieces laying around . I was looking at some paving slabs I had done as a trial run for a diorama and they where looking a bit to matt so I started rubbing them with my thumb , guess what they started to look better after a bit more rubbing they had the just the amount of sheen a worn paving slab would have had . So I looked at other items on my work bench that should have more of a sheen , a helmet on a 1/35 th Jeep driver come up beautifully . Other items like the wood stock on a rifle , the leather on the leggings on a 1/32 figure all seem to come up better for a bit of rubbing . Now may be I'm a just greasy old fart still going through puberty at 66 and it may not work for everyone but it's free so give it a go . I'm sorry I didn't before and after pictures just got carried away .
