Hey all
I finally finished the Queen's Ranger, the commemorative figure from the 1st annual Sword and Brush show here in Toronto. The fig was produced by FeR miniatures for our club's show.

Anyway, a beautifully sculpted and cast figure that was a joy to paint. For the scene, I tried my hand a sculpting a tree using MS over a twisted wire frame. Everything was painted with Scale 75, Vallejo and Darkstar acrylics.

Thanx for looking in

Nice job. Each time I see a newly painted version of this figure, the more I like it. I am going have to pick one up soon perhaps at MFCA in a couple of weeks.

I had the privilege to see this beauty a while ago and I can tell you that it looks much more better in reality then in pictures.
Great execution and composition. Love everything what you did!
Congrats, my friend! (y) A top piece!
Cheers,
Zeno :)

Thank you all for the kind comments and support. For those looking to pick this guy up... don't hesitate, it's a great fig to work on.
Roger, being in a club with Zeno and seeing his work up close and being privy to his groundwork seminars, I am humbled and pleased at the comparison to his work... I blush :shy:

Thanx again for looking in

Colin

Colin, Really like your FER Simcoe's Ranger. Great job on the greens! And the groundwork is super! Really
well staged! (y)

Kudos to FER for doing this figure. Really like the way it turned out!

Thanks for sharing!
