Hello all,

I am planning a 1/72 scale diorama depicting a battle between Imperial era Romans and the native Britons (60-100AD or so).

What did these folks look like? What type of armor (if any?) Helmets, shields, spears, swords?

Italerie makes a set labeled "Gaul Warriors" - but I'm not sure if these guys would be accurate. (Photo below)

Any thoughts/suggestions would be most helpfull - and if you can direct me to any photos depicting Britons of this era - that would be even better.

Best!

Here is a link to a webpage that reviews almost all plastic 1/72 kits:http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/
They tell something about Historical Accuracy and some others like sculpting and mold quality.
I don't know how historical accurate this info on the site is due to my lake of knowledge about uniforms. But I find it a very nice site.
