Question on Athos figure

I have a question about the Athos figure from Andrea. I know its from the movie and not probably correct, but I want to paint the clothes a little different form the box art. What colors can I use and be somewhat historically accurate? Ive seen the top coat/cape range from black to red to blue to light blue with gold or silver crosses on all. Can these combinations be OK?

Any help would be great.

From what i have checked some references one correct compinations would be a medium to light blue clothe with silver corses and red flames around the cross. At least that how i will paint mine !!!! I hope i helped
