You weren't based at Gournes Airforce Base by any chance were you Kevin?

I was a student at Iraklion in the early 70's. Came back to the states in 74, same year I met a lovely blonde stateside who is still my wife. poor girl LOL

Lovely place Kevin, we were there two years ago. There is an aquarium at the former US Airforce Base which is why I asked. It's pretty weird, a lovely modern building set among derelict buildings.

Looking forward to hearing how you get on with the figure. I have the same one underway at the moment. There's a little break in proceedings at the moment as I'm at sea and then two weeks in Greece when this trip is over.
