Hello pals,

I would like to know the best way for painting armours with colored metals, like the master Jose Manuel Palomares have done:

These don't look like they're painted with metallics so it's just using normal paints with the right shading and highlighting style. If you paint well already it shouldn't take much practice to get right - exaggerate the contrast, use darker shading and some sharper highlights and that may be enough.

if you do want to paint with colored metallics you can just tint your silver or gold with the color of your choice. Then shade and highlight the normal way with an emphasis on a sharp highlight point. For the deepest shadows use your tint color mixed with black or the contrast color. otherwise you are just dealing with NMM.
