Dear Planeteers!

In the two photos from 1943 we see a young Soviet writer who was deployed in the war as a so-called "front correspondent".

He doesn't seem to enjoy this activity so much, as the expression on his face tells us ...

A little over ten years later, he became world famous through a novel he wrote. The novel was also made into a movie. Everyone knows the theme melody created by a French composer!

1. Who is the man in the photos?
2. What is the name of the novel?
3. Who is the composer who created the music and the theme melody for the movie?

Wish you success!

Cheers

Too slow Tom beat me to it! :)

Here comes your chance Phil!

We increase the level of confidentiality...:

Here's another front correspondent (and later Nobel Prize winner) ...:

1. Name?
2. Major work (for which he received the Nobel Prize)?
3. Of course, this work was also made into a movie. Name the two main characters and the names of the people who played them.
