This is how l spent my 10 days off work! A massive thanks to big Marc at stormtroopers, if you hadn't discounted this at Folkestone for me I might never of bought and painted it!
I hope I've done it justice.

Nice result, John - some nice work in that. Just one observation, though, radio was still in its infancy in the First World War and it wasn't used for military communications. It was telegraphs, telephones, pigeons and semaphore!

Cheers mate, I know it's a field telephone connected via 2 copper wires and a battery that rings when the current is increased by turning a handle, later replaced by a ring button. The title of the post was just for effect, it's not the title of the bust itself.

Just seen this one ...very nicely done indeed , like the details on the note book and the whole sculpt looks good ...as for the backdrop nice posters and overall effect adds to the piece
