RAF UNIFORMS COLOUR

I have just ordered the new Maurice Corry figure of Guy Gibson, and to do the figure justice I just wondered if anyone know's how to create the correct colour for the uniform. Thank you.

This may help Carl.
If you're using Vallejo, I use 964 field blue.

Thanks for the tip Housecarl, I use Life Colour for my painting, but will look at a German firm to see if I can get old of some Vallejo Field Blue.

Life Colour do a field blue too Carl.
But I think it's a little pale, easy enough to darken it up though.

Carl #1, this thread from recently might be of interest, RAF blue.

Ideally collect some references, as you'll see there are many viable shades of blue you can pick from. Any of them are easily mixed from scratch if you need to, starting from one or other of the dark blues.
