pity , but not your fault, normaly he wear a verticaly pleated skirt, the period is New Empire, I think, he is represented with the pleated skirt in his statue

Signwriting Brushes are long thin OOO brushes, because of their length when using acrylic paint they always come to a very fine tip, they also hold a lot more paint than a short stubby OOO brush
The brush I mainly use for fine work is "da Vinci Series 1105 Short Handled Rigger Size 1" second from left,
