Raoul Lufbery WiP

Here are a couple of smudgy pictures of the Model Cellar bust of the French-American ace Raoul Lufbery bust. I have recently moved into a new house, and in doing so, I have been able to unpack most of my modelling gear that was stuck in storage. This meant that I rediscovered pieces that made the trip with me to Australia including some WiPs. This was one of them. The bust is sculpted by Mike Good – one of my favourite sculptors – and was released in the mid-2000s. It is a lovely piece of sculpting, and I started painting this back in the UK, but like so many of my pieces it joined the parade of shame and stalled. Now that I have a study/modelling den in my new home, I intend to try and get back to the workbench, and this bust will be one of my priorities.


The pictures are not great as I am playing around with my photography setup and the ISO was set too high; noted for next time!
