As I am doing a road trip across the United States on a Harley, I am reluctantly selling off my rare & unstarted figures, so here is a ULTRA RARE KIRIN in 1/9th / 200mm scale German machine gunner . The Kit is brand new, sealed & complete. . Please note it is a genuine original KIRIN kit with all parts sealed & nothing is missing & MIB!

This is a excellent sculpture by renown John Rosengrant
You don't often get a chance to get it in this condition so don't miss out!!!!
I am looking for £100.00 & postage cost to your location.
PLEASE NOTE! THIS IS NOT A RECAST!
regards

Someone somewhere owns the master to this.

Such a pity it's never been reissued. But then again I guess a significant amount of its appeal lies in its rarity, and that's also probably why you don't see too many painted up - they're all being hoarded in stashes for a "rainy day"!

It is a beautiful figure though. Good luck with the sale Mark.

Hi Mark
Good luck with the trip , you ought to try and time it for the the 14 th August and hit North Dekota for the Sturgis motor cycle rally really is an awesome event with mind blowing bikes and in a beautiful part of the country ,I did a road trip in 2007 starting in Delaware where I lived ,up toward Chicago Great Lakes across into cowboy country then down into Utah New Mexico Arizona , went to Davis Monthem air base not into planes but they have the grave yard of planes they store planes as they don't deteriorate pretty spectacular make sure you do the Grand Canyon and the glass bridge .
Pretty envious lol
Cheers Chris

Thanks Guys, quickest sale for me ever...26 minutes,, well done Gellso (y)
Sorry Tony, it was a case of first come, first serve, law of the jungle...:(
Steve, dead right, as it needs to be recast properly by the owner of the moulds, too many recasters knocking out poor copies...
Hi taff, sounds like a good plan, (whats your address for a night time stop over...:joyful:)
the time is ticking away....

Hi Mark
Sadley mate I moved back to Uk in 2008 , or you would have been more than welcome to bunk down, my trip was a bit of a therapeutic trip my wife had passed away suddenly in the end of 2006 so it was a get my head back together trip .
Mind you a lot of people seem to go straight across, not sure what your jump off point is but interstate I95 from New York down the east coast is a great run you could do a lot of the Civil War battle fields then on down south and then sought of turn right at some point and go up lol .
I met some great people look up the AAA , site American Auto Assosiation they do all sort of stuff you can join even if not american they will plan routes etc .
Man brings back memory's

If you are coming through the Midwest (I 80) Iowa/Illinois where the Mississipi river runs, on your way West, you have a place to crash and drink a beer here. I could also arrange an awesome trip to the range and Harley shops.

Mr. Dunne - How long have you lived in Dunkirk NY??? That's my home town - lived there until I was 45 then moved south - still have some family there!! Dave

Just relocated from Long Island 6 months ago...did not realize the winters were like being on The Wall.
Great place though, great people, hiking, kayaking etc. Live 50m from Lake Erie.
Small world...

So, who still lives here...maybe my friends know them. Also, just read a book...The Sword of the Templars...first 40 pages takes place in Fredonia!!! Go figure...

Hey Kevin - My Mom,brother, sister still live there -oh lets not forget the ex!!! My kids did the smart thing and got out while they were young. I worked 25 yrs. in the steel mill until it closed {has re-opened since} - I still talk to my steel worker buddies every now & then. YES the winters are brutal - that's why Im in Florida now!!! 45 yrs. was enough!! Is that 50 minutes or miles from the lake?? When I was there I lived about a mile from the lake - gotta love those lake effect snow storms!!! Interesting about the book - might have to read it just because you mention it. Enjoy the fruits and veggies when they are in season - can't beat the taste!!

Well done Mark :) brilliant sale
I had an original untouched I bought from Wonderland models that I put on the bay a year or so ago
It got to £50, same as I paid in the 90s, so you did very well mate, good on ya :)
I wish I had kept it now but needs must at the time
Best wishes mate

Thought that I would share my experience with this kit.2 years ago I was in my local plastic model Shop buying Humbrol for under painting.I saw a Kirin Box underneath some Tamiya kit boxes and it was this 200mm figgie.I asked what it cost and recieved the reply...10 euros!!!Of course I bought it,sold it later for 80 euros....Not Bad.
