I notice in the latest issue of The Illustrated Historical Artist (N0 5) an advertisement for these holders. http://rathcore.com/miniature-holder/

The video indicates they come for figures in three sizes 32mm (which can be adapted for 20mmm and 25mm), 54mm and 75mm, but I see on the shop site they also have 90mm. The You Tube demonstration here.

Has anyone used these, and if so are they worth purchasing? With my old hands I need all the help I can.:(

Hi Chris

I haven't tried these either but know folk that use them and find them good .

Personally as I only do busts perhaps the smaller scales might be okay but not sure about anything larger than 1/12th

Be very interested in others comments like you

I called by yesterday and picked up a few extra corks. Very easy to swap over the piece and start the next one. Easy to order and a large stock.

I've given up ordering anything from the US due to crippling postal charges.

Me too Keith. I used to order books and figurines from the US, but the recent astronomical rise in overseas postage now makes them uneconomical. Indeed the postage is sometimes considerably more than the cost of the item one is purchasing. Now it is much cheaper getting them from the UK or the EU.
