Hey guys,

As you know I have not been posting much and I had hope to get busy soon. The problem is that, some of you know but most don't is that for the last several months I have been dealing with a bad left shoulder. I injured it some time back but about 2 1/2 months ago it actually froze up on me. I have been in some really bad pain until the doctor gave me some injections and helped relieve it. I have had 3 knee surgery's and a shoulder surgery but none of them compared to the pain of this one. I then started on some aggressive Physical Therapy but it did not fully help it. I have some movement back in the arm and have been trying to get some work done but not as productive as I would have hoped to be. I just returned from the doctors and I will have shoulder surgery on Dec 17th and then I hope to finally get back to the way I was before.

Thanks,

Joe

I've had similiar physical problems too that have kept me away from the planet and painting so I understand the frustration of not being able to do anything as you once could. I hope your surgery this month takes care of it for you. I find out Friday what is planned, surgery wise for me.

Hang in there Joe and have a good and fast recovery.

Surgery....I cringe at that word now. Hope all goes well for you Joe and it's a success. Godspeed on your recovery.

I hope you are feeling better now, Guy?

I only got previous Saturday ruined from what turned out to be a kidneystone. Not serious but hurt enough to keep me from painting.

Cheers

Joe,
We wish you well and will place you on our Churches Prayer list for a successful operation and recovery. Guy is already on the list.
Joe, Maybe you caught this off of John Long as he has been having shoulder problems:D
Cheers

Well on the plus side this sounds like a fairly standard conversion. Just cut off the arm with the shoulder, pick out and glue a new one on.(I'm sure you have an extra arm lying around somewhere) Add a little putty and viola. Plus once you are fully converted into a cyborg you can paint/sculpt 24/7:p

But seriously all the best I know how a debilitation can affect one, and wish you a speedy recovery!(y)

Take care,
Joe

Thanks for all the kind words and thoughts and prayers. I am hoping it goes well. I did have a slight drawback but hopefully will find out soon if it is all ok. I went to have an EKG for my surgery but it turned out abnormal so I just got back today from having a stress test. If and hopefully I did ok , the surgery will take place as planned but if I have a problem with the ticker I have to find out all about that first.

Thanks again,

Joe

Hey Janne,

Thanks! I would rather have the surgery than that! I amnot sure if you remember but I had a really bad on at the Boston WE. Best of luck to you.

Hey everyone

I am recovering from my shoulder surgery. Everything went well and I hope to be back close to 100% sometime soon! Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers.
