All, I have several old Polly S and Polly S Fantasy paints that have "dried out" and am wondering if I can reconstitute them with some rubbing alcohol and water?
I agree with Roc. I have tried over the years to revive old paints, and it has always been a disaster. I know there are formulas out there that supposedly work, but none have ever really worked for me. Sure, you can get the paint to re-liquify, but it's always lumpy, flows poorly, and the color is uneven. You would not be happy with the results.
I'm not cheap, just trying to paint late at night when I run out of some color.
So, when you think about all the time and effort you put into a figure, why get hung up on the price of a paint pot? It's no place to economize, IMHO. I now have back-up tubes to get me through the night. Much better!
