Acrylics Red Baron's cockade.

I have a question, what colour should the Red Baron's cockade be? I know on is for Imperial Germany. He was Prussian so should it be black and white, but I have a reference for it been blue and white.

Bavarian is blue and white.

The reference is my looking on a cold dark day in rainy Cheshire, and being too lazy put the light on. Now I've trimmed the wicks, I can see it is black and white.
