Hello and welcome Harold...I must say he looks gorgeous..nicely painted in a very soft fashion, very well suited to the pose of horse and rider...excellent (y).

Roy.

Great work Harold. Lovely painting. Can we have a few close ups please. Keep up the good work.

Hello Harold, welcome to the Planet and thanks for posting, your figure is beautifully painted, I hope to se more of your work. ;)

Keep up the good work.

Cheers

Thanks all

I tried to improve the picture above a bit .Sorry but this is was my first attempt at posting a PICTURE.I will get some closes up soon.

As regards to the yellow lacing they ate compleately in acyrilics as I find I can get much more finer work especially finer lines with achrilics.

The bigger picture is a great help.

Superb work.
I really like the colors and the lace looks great.

that's great...the bigger picture shows your work much better, and now we can all enjoy it.

It all looks great but I especially like the red, soft and very realistic for such a difficult colour. A great piece. Looking forward to more.

All the very best

Roy.

Outstanding!
What was the mix that you used for the horse...
I agree with my brother Lou, the best horse I have ever seen...very nice!

All the best

Patrick

I found that Airbrushing a coat of Vallejo Achrilics on top of the primer helps a lot to give you a smoother finish.I also use Achrilcs on top of oils for the finer detail work such as the viens and the white socks.Usally all my work is in Achrlics but nothing can beat the finish that can be achieved with oils on horses.
