These are 3D printed resin figures

Just checked out their website and it seems that a 20% discount is offered if you remove the spur yourself, not a bad deal.

um....can someone enlighten me on 3D, can it be done with any scale?

I'm biased, but :
3D print plus : no casting line, possible to change scale, possible to have details/attitude difficult to cast, eventualy no casting blocks
3D print minus : higher costs in high res, more care in priming to hide some slightly noticeable printing lines.
Scan plus : realist attitude, folds, and figures have a sight.
Scan minus : you need a model so all is not possible.

Yes, it is possible despite there is surely additional work in sculpting. We scanned a chasseur à cheval in february, will probably work it this summer
