Hi Guys

Here is my latest 54mm figure, Its a Line Infantry Grenadier from the Reign of Naples, produced by Romeo Models, the kit is absolutely superb and probably one of the best cast figures I have ever seen, it was an absolute dream to paint. I still have a few little touches to add.

As this is my first real attempt at painting a mainly white uniform, your opinions are very welcome...

That's a super job for whites Dave. Congrats mate. Only one little thing. He looks very clean to me for the type of groundwork you chose (prolly that's something that you will add, as you stated). Great figure overall.

Hi Dave,

A superb painted figure. I love all of it but especially the fact that the value of the red you have choosen matches so wonderfully well the white of the clothing (y) .

Johan ;)

Top photos of a top model mate!

I can assure fellow Planeteers that this really is a good figure that Dave has worked wonders on. It looks even better in the flesh.

nice one Dave

Thanks guys

Your comments are always welcome, I try to get things right on my figures, and mutual appreciation from planeteers is a great confidence booster...

Xenofon, yes making him a little dirty is one of the little touches that I have to add as well as the buttons on the boots and a little shading in the flintlock.

Anthony, thanks mate...

Marc, I Had a look at yours on your vbench, great. You said, you had painted it a couple of times, I think you did a great job of doing the whites for first time. but your painting has improved so much since then, so you shouldn’t put your painting down at all...

Dave

Thanks guys, for all your comments.

Talino, the figure is painted in acrylics, and the leaves on the groundwork are from a silverbirch tree.

Eddy, thanks for the compliments.

Jason, thank you, I hope I can justify your figure.
