Artist's gel medium, whatever that is (I've never used it). I've seen the technique used by Cody Kwok, who paints anime figures. He's got a couple of figures of girls emerging from a pool or the surf, where he replicated beads of water or sweat. His site is http://codyscoop.com.

Glad to help, Del! I'll be interested to see how it works, if you try the gel. I haven't yet, but I have some subjects in the stash, on which I might like to try it.
