Hi all,
My most recent work is this diorama I build arround one of my existing bust kits. I got the inspiration from Frankenstein and my favorite PC-game series 'Wolfenstein'. Most of it is scratchbuild, exept for the glass bottles ofcourse. I tried to bring some logic in all the connections of the machinery and added some LED's. Finish was with Vallejo paints and pastels. It was a fun project, involving totally freedom

Love it! Great metal surfaces with nice patina. How did you do them?

I scratchbuild the items, made moulds and casted the pieces with bronze powder. Than I went to work with real patina's wich reacted on the surface. It was a lot of trial and error though, before I had the right results. But they came out fine at the end.

So If I understand, you cast them in resin mixed with bronze powder? Just considering how I might use this process at some point. Thank you for the info!
