Hey guys,

After seeing the new poll about sculpting I thought that I would share with you an old figure I did a few years back. It is that of a 6th Va. Revolutionary War drummer. I based it off of a print. It was one that I enjoyed and think that I could do better if I were to try it again. I hope it may help some but like I said it was a few years back and there are quite a few better sbs now on PF but just wanted to show this one to you all.

more, I know that most may know but here are a few where I added the putty and worked it for the legging.

My homemade punch for the buttons. It is the back end of a drill bit and sheet lead.

Just the sort of thing I think the poll was aiming for - clear SBS with " how it's done and how it looks" details along the way.

IMHO it is very informative. Did this guy ever get to the paint stage?

Hey guys,

Thanks for the very kind words. Like I said this was a figure I did quite some time ago but had fun doing it. I never painted it. I sent it to Kreston to paint but not sure if he ever painted it or not, if not maybe whomever wants to paint it can contact him and check the status of it.
