I first painted this one back in 2017, I was not happy with it and with the pandemic on going at this time, I thought I would repaint him. It seems there is a shortage of Dettol, because of Covid19 but I did source some.
All painted in acrylics and posed on a piece of Spanish olive wood.

Lovely piece Bob. Great job on the waistcoat and stockings and a great touch with the red/white/blue cord for his water gourd.

That’s cracking, Bob. Love the weathering and groundwork. A real gem.

Bill,
Thank you for the great comment

Ken,
Thank you my friend, appreciated. Regards

Chris,
Thank you very much.

Nap,
I have not seen Dettol on the shelves at the local Tesco for months now but managed at another shop but that was the last bottle.
Glad you like it, hope you see it in the flesh soon!!!!

Jeff,
Many thanks for the kind comment.

Thanks every one, stay safe.

well done Bob. Nice figure

Well done Bob. It take guts to strip and repaint a figure. It paid off beautifully mate. Love the red stripes on the waist coat.

Ben,
Thank you very much, just waiting for the next one.

Tony,
I don't know about guts, sheer stupidity more like. When its sat in the Dettol bath and your looking at the paint dissolve, your then wondering wether you did the right thing. I am so glad I did as this paint work is 10 times better.
I really appreciate your comment Tony, thanks again
Best regards
