Hello Planeteer's,
Hopefully I can get in some quality modelling time, after resculting my ankle today at work, luckily it's not broken.:(:grumpy:
All critique to do with sculpting is always greatly accepted, as is medicinal scotch, any make, I'm not fussy (that's bourbon or rye to my Canadian & US brother's(y) ):ROFLMAO:. I think my flapper days are over.:angelic:
cheers
Richie - ouch!

Now that does look painful mate :inpain: but then the upside is it doesn't look like you'll be doing the washing up for a while. :D

Cheers Ken

Have you seen the doctor yet and gotten an X-ray of the ankle ? From the angle of the posted photos, it looks to be fractured to me :cautious:.
Just my 2 cents worth . Cheers!
Kenneth.

Well, It's my daily job to handle these kind of injuries.
But first of all: Let make a X ray......
Most of the time, the biggest swollen ankle's are less broken then the less swollen.
But you got to take a X ray.

Marc

Richie, I hope you get better soon, but make sure you are looked at mate, because a long time back I complained to the powers that be that I thought I had broken my ankle and was told that if I wanted symphathy it was in the dictionary between "s--t & syphillis" and to "crack on", but it was broken and still gives me gyp after all these years.
Make the most of your modelling time though.
Dennis

Hi All,
I could not resist posting in the (re)sculpting section just my sense of humour. It has been x-rayed yesterday when I did it and is not broken thanks for your concern. As soon as it gets a bit more comfortable I intend to get "cracking" on the modelling, don't look a gift horse in the mouth that's what I say.
Steve my ankle just turned under as I was stepping off the van tailgate at work.
cheers
Richie

I have had a look at your recent sculpting mate and to me something doesn't quite look right, I think you have the proportions way too big and it makes the anatomy of the ankle look wrong, carve back some of the flesh with a x-acto blade and I think it will look much better :woot:
Hope you get better soon mate, maybe you should give up break dancing at your age and size

Steve

Actually I think you will find that you've used too light a shade of flesh for this time of year, and those veins should be bluer :troll:

Steve

Hi Mike - Just wish I could get out to get some carrots. Can't stand anything on it at the moment.

Hi Roger - How did your carrot briefing go down! Did they take your turpentine off you;)

Hi Steve - She won't let me have sharp objects at the minute while I'm wobbling about on crutches. So when I got up this morning I decided to resculpt the left side the same scale as the right. How does the balance look now.:inpain: Yes, I will have to give up the "break" dancing at my youthful age and slender build:ROFLMAO:
I did'nt even slip on a banana skin or fall of my tyre and chain!

Hi Steve - Your observations are right on the money, but I'm still working on the shading.
Good job it's not Telford coming up, I'd bash you two for your cheek with my crutch. Now :stop: making me laugh it hurts.

Thank's for the chuckle boys
cheers
Richie
