I love this eddy,it's my favourite andrea pirate and i'm definately getting one of these,beautiful brush work and i love the way youv'e captured that old wood effect on the wheel,(y)

I know you are an oil painter, can you described to us the mix you used to paint the wood of this set?

Pedro, I have used sepia, brown madder, ochre, burned sienna and a little black, all in different washes and brushwork, to make sure you leave here and there a spot, so at the end you get a vary of wood colors.
The wheel is finished with satin varnish.

Nice job. I got this figure for x-mas and it is sitting on my WB, waiting for a replacement wheel from Andrea (wish me luck). I really like the fleshtones.
