Another beautifully sculpted and casted figure from United Empire Miniatures. John Lea has again set the bar with his New release of a 120mm AWI Rifleman from Parr's Brigade. The kit comes cast in 8 resin parts with the tree and base cast together.

Here are several views of the main body set to lean against the tree as if warning those behind him of enemy troops ahead.

The fine detail sculpted by Alan Ball really shows as you examine this figure closely.

The hat is cast seperately and the feather detail is amazing.

Doing a dry-fit of the accessories finds the exact fitment of all parts.

Once again the powder horn and pouch fit snuggly into it's location on the hip.

The attention to detail is plainly seen on the rifle stock and barrel.

Excellent figure and highly reccomended for history fans of the AWI. I can see alot of possibilities for conversions of this figure too.
