RIP Geoff Charman such sad news

Hi Guys

On Facebook, I learned today that Geoffrey Charman (Geoff) has died. Somehow, I still hope it's a mistake and that it may be heard again, but it's probably not a mistake. What scares me the most is that I accidentally clicked on his Facebook page to see if he had finished his last bust. It's a shock for me. I didn't know Geoff well, only here via the forum and via Facebook. Even so, I am very sorry for his passing. I hope he's in a better place. Rest in Peace Geoff.

Hi everyone

This is unfortunately correct Geoff passed away at home 23/6 ...he was looking at PF on his computer ...a member to the end

Both myself and Carole are in total shock .......a massive loss to his lovely wife and family and all here

A great guy to have around you shows , loved the hobby a talented modeller and contributed so much to Planet Figure

Our thoughts are with all family at this so sad time

REST IN PEACE mate .....keep me a space at the heavenly bench

I didn't personally knew Geoff, but used to follow with interest his many busts paints here on PF.

Just a few days ago I followed his work on that AWI Continental Marine 1775 (here: https://www.planetfigure.com/threads/awi-continental-marine-1775.252209/page-2 ) ...

A terrible loss for the community!

I enjoyed his regular w.i.p. posts, and watching his skills improve with each new bust.
I had a very pleasant chat with him and his wife at Bugle Call last year.
As has already been stated, he will be greatly missed.

I'm shocked & so sorry to read of Geoff's passing. I always followed his projects with interest, & although I never met him personally I corresponded with him via PM & found him a charming guy to chat with, & very personable.
My sincerest condolences to Geoff's family, & I'll be thinking of him on the day of his funeral as mentioned above by Nap.
