Just finished this excellent Pegaso 75mm Rissalder last weekend and tonight, I finally had some time to take a few photos. So while I sit back and enjoy watching my Edmonton Oilers attempt to end a three game losing streak, I am sharing the latest project from my stacked up workbench. Please feel free to chime in with whatever advice and /or critiques you'd care to leave. A special thanks to Gary D. for agreeing to purchase this figure for me as part of a little exchange we worked out. I hope your end of the bargain has been worth while Gary!

Thank everyone! Marc, Dimitiros, Alexandros, Patrick, Noel, Gr. Peter and Stralis, I am very happy that you all liked the figure. Eduardo, I do apologize for the poor quality photos. I simply have never been able to master the fine art of photography. I'll keep practicing! Cheers everyone.

As usual, beautiful work Glenn!! I'm glad the exchange was favourable for you as well. I can't wait to see this at the show in the spring. (y)

Thanks Carl. I wanted to emphasize the European background of this officer, so I figured what could more European than blonde hair? I just made the hair too close to the jacket.
Thanks also Brian. I started with an under coat of Valejo Yellow Ochre. I used Sepia and Burnt Umber oil in a 2:1 ratio for the shadows, and Naples Yellow with a touch of Titanium White for the high lights. The last thing I did, and it was an after thought, was to add a thin glaze of Lemon Yellow, as the colour at the time was a bit muted and this gave it that real yellow pop I was looking for.
