Damn fine work Ron looking forward to seeeing it. Are you entering it at the Glasgow Show next weekend?

Had forgotten about that show Del ,If I get it totally finished and complete the transport setup I will enter it, the dame ting weighs over a kilo so I have drilled an 8mm dowel hole in the bottom of the base and will make a footplate with with an 8mm peg which I can slot into the carrying case as I don't trust blue tack to hold it on it's own
Ron

Yes indeed Ron avery nice piece all round, I think anything that has a horse and rider can be time consuming, particularly with trial fitting.

regards Zane

Thanx Zane
There were some scary moments indeed where the whole thing could have went belly up  a lot of drilling and pinning. trial fitting ,part painting then gap filling once it was glued , the horses main is in three parts and took a little figuring out what went where , rider needs to go on before the shield " found that out the hard way" :D some serious filling on the underside of the supplied base so I could pin it to the plinth ; will need to re-supply with magic sculpt but all in all a fun piece to do , the horse in-itself is a fantastic sculpt .

Just a thought Ron. Remember the guys that judge at Glasgow are not used to handling figures and can be a bit heavy handed.

That is alarming Del  , but they should not need to touch it one would hope

It is a very badly run show re the display area for models . kinda reflects on the whole thing .
Will have to think about it seriously :nailbiting:

Thanx guys for looking and the complimentary remarks , this one was a labour of love no doubt about that :)

Magnificent piece of art, as i watch it closely with all these fine details and fantasting matching of colors one
phrase from an old classic movie comes in mind, rephrasing it " Master the model is alive"...
Excellent work from top to bottom.
