Yes indeed Ron avery nice piece all round, I think anything that has a horse and rider can be time consuming, particularly with trial fitting.

Had forgotten about that show Del ,If I get it totally finished and complete the transport setup I will enter it, the dame ting weighs over a kilo so I have drilled an 8mm dowel hole in the bottom of the base and will make a footplate with with an 8mm peg which I can slot into the carrying case as I don't trust blue tack to hold it on it's own

Just a thought Ron. Remember the guys that judge at Glasgow are not used to handling figures and can be a bit heavy handed.
