Robin Hood

Ok, so maybe I'm a bit behind, but I just learned about a new film from one of my favorite directors, Ridley Scott. This one stars Russell Crowe as Robin Hood and if it's half the movie Gladiator is, it'll be great. It seems promising from what I've read. I believe it's due for release in May 2010. Cate Blanchett is also co-starring. Woohoo!

I find Russel Crowe has only made two good movies so I'm not holding my breath on this movie, but I've just read the best Robin Hood novel ever, Outlaw by Angus Donold . This is no Mr. Nice Guy, take from the rich give to the poor hippy type, more like the Godfarther in Linclon Green .
