Rocroi - 1643 - the last tercio

one of my latest works
made up of several commercial figures which you will easily recognize and the two front laying soldiers strached (not by me ...)
the commercial figd were created after the fabulous painting by Augusto ferrer-Dalmau.
I added the flag, and tried to make the little vignette tell a story ( wiating for the next french cavalery charge )
all figs are oil painted .
happy to get a gold medal at the last Paris Sèvres show.
