Hi!
These pics are from another miniature i painted last year. It's an officer from the Spanish Tercios at the Battle of Rocroi, an original sculpture of my friend Diego F. Fortes in 75mm:
The miniature is based in the central character of the epic painting "El perro de Rocroi" from the famous painter Augusto Ferrer-Dalmau:
This miniature was made as a part of an ambitious group project with lots of other Spanish modellers for an exhibit of miniatures based on paintings of Augusto Ferrer-Dalmau, besides these same works in which they were based that was hosted last year in the Spanish Army Museum in Toledo:
Here we are, Diego and I, posing full of pride with our miniature:
And here I am with the master painter D. Augusto Ferrer-Dalmau:
The chance to take part in such a project, to see our little works on display in a national museum is something that doesn't comes by very often:
Galland Books has the full catalogue of the exhibit, were you can admire the works of several Spanish modellers of worldwide fame:
For those interested in the figure, even if the one shown here is a one-off, mi friend Diego has recently sculpted another one on the same scale and subject for his company Miniaturas Fortes:

Finally, I would like to thank my good friend Pepe Gallardo for the excellent pics he made of this miniature, that were used for the exhibit book.
Regards
FeR
