A Fixture
I have not posted anything for ages as I have had Gall Bladder problems, which has now been removed and then a couple more visits to hospital because of stray gall stones, but hopefully I am fit now and trying to get my modelling mojo back.
I shall be trying to complete part one of Gordon Mitchell's Roll Call series. This is the first set of five 1/32nd figures, sculpted by Mos Corry depicting a roll call of the Grenadier Guards after the Battle of Inkermann in the Crimea 1854. It is taken from a Lady Butler painting that is in the Royal Collection.
The first figure I completed was the left one taking the roll call.
The rest of the figures I have been block colour painting but varying the outer coat colour slightly to give it a bit of age for a couple of figures.
These 4 figures are still WIP and I still have to paint their muskets.
Still lots to do so now I have started this thread I must start getting the brushes working.
TBC
