Very nicely done, but the Romans tended to use an underarm stabbing technique, rather than an overarm slash.

Very nice work indeed, re the pose seems perfectly reasonable to me to use an overarm slash if you are attacking a broken enemy and you are no longer in formation which would seem quite likely given the shield position

Ventress! would you be referring to the posture? The off-set shield, and the inappropriate use of the 'Gladius'. . A fair and good observation.

The painting is still damn nice though!
