Hi all
Well its finally done ,I made a wreath as I agreed with some of the feed back it was a little high, by placing the wreath where I have I feel it helps take away that height . I was going to cut the tube but thought don't tempt fate Mr Bean lol so I left it Thought I better do some thing as Jim Kevin and I went to Salisbury for the show
I made a name plate and painted in Latin " the eagle no longer lost " .
How onto other projects lol .
Thanks for following over the weeks and all the feedback

Hi Chris,
Great job on this one, followed your SBS and it has come out great. The face is my favourite area that you have done, quite realistic

Amazing what a nameplate and wreath can do (y)

Food for thought ,if you find the the metal tube a bit long just drill the hole a bit deeper and if it is too deep pack the bottom with some blue tac before gluing :)

Nice finish Chris

Thanks for the feed back really appreciated , and the heads up with the metal rod idea., and of course it had a cracking base from yours truly . yea t he wreath was a last minuets thing I did before going to the Salisbury show on Saturday .
I made it out of one of those wire ties which are covered in plastic , I twisted it and wrapped some copper wire around it ,had some ground work material which it would appear are seeds which look like leaves sprayed the wire Matt green then glued the leaves on and gave them a coat of acrilic gold ink .
Cheap and cheerfully but I was pleased with the end result
Cheers Chris

Chris, this is really well done! excellent tones! ..I have to agree with Ron T! (which is unusual ) ... shorten the mount pole, as your wreath will then frame the title !. which to my mind will be much more suitable.

High Regards,

Mark

Just like to say after seeing this one close up that I reckon you've done a great job on it Chris, it's a cracking sculpt & you've done it justice, you earned the Gold it won you
Cheers(y)
