Great work Joe. Fine and realistic painting (I admit that I prefer a more contrasting paint job, but I admit that this looks really great). Base is simple yet very impressive, with excellent details and transitions of clay soil in the trapped part. I really like it very much.

Gracias Eduardo! It was my intent to keep the colors toned down and more natural looking. In some cases I added a touch of grey in the mix. Some of the Vallejo metallics are a bit grainy, so I'm searching for paint that has a more realistic metal sheen. Thanks again.

Thank you for your comments Borek! Some day I hope to come up with cool looking groundwork like that of Sergey Popovichenko, truly amazing stuff. For now this is where I'm at :D!
