Hi all guys,

I just finished my latest figure, so I write a post.
This is Roman Centurion bust figure of Young Miniatures.
I used josonja's artist acrylic paints for painting most part, and I used some vallejo and andrea colors with Winsor&Newton's silver artist acrylic paints.
I tried to express for showing real skin with pictorial effect.
All comments &critiques are welcomed.

Have a nice day~~!!! :)

All my best regards,

Kim.

P.S : I'm tring to sell this figure on ebay for many collectors, so if you interest about this figure, please check this URL address.

Really nice painting! Only his right eye seems to be a little bit to small. But overall really nice painting!
yours

Beautiful painting Kim. Your painting has gotten better since you left Seil. I look forward to seeing many more of your figures.

Theodoros / thank you for your comment, Theodoros. :)

Bad91Fellow / Well, I think his right eye is not small (please check all photos) , but anyway, I will try to hard more for you. Many thanks your warm comment, friend :)

Sambaman / thank you, friend. :)

Guy / I don't know my painting has gotten better...but I think I can spend more time for work than before. So I cant make money,now...haha!!
Honestly, I really need some money now for my personal situation(my school expenses, and my younger sister will marry on 3, this Oct, etc...). so I decided to try selling my works on e-bay.I couldn't find other good way in China...That's sad points... :)
Anyway, thank you very much for your warm comment and have a nice day, my friend~~!! :)

Hello Kim how are you? I think you have painted a great version of this magnifecent bust. The face is just awesome. One comment if you'll permit me. The eyes on the wolf skin are too alive IMHO. The animal is dead right ? :):) Beautiful painting anyway.

Stephen Mallia

Stephen Mallia / Hey~~how are you?I'm always gd. :)
Thank you for your comments about my work. :)
BTW, what's meanning 'IMHO'? As you know, I don't know english well...so can you tell me about that for correct understanding your advice??
I'm sorry about my poor english, my friend. :)
Have a nice day~~!!

Hardy / Thank you for your comments. I always respect your art and your own painting style. Thank you again and have a nice day~~!! :)

Kim,
Excellent work. I agree with Stephen. The Romans used glass eyes and they are always one color. So you gotta change that blue iris a little. Because of the paralised muscles (the wolf is dead) of the iris the black is more then the blue. And the light must even out of the eye.

Marc

tonydawe / Thank you for your kind comments. :)

megroot / ah... I just understand stephen and your advice.OK~~I'll try to correct it after some photos about it. thank you very much~~!!!! :)
